What is a casual access?
A casual access membership allows you to access our shared co-working space and choose from any available desk for a day of work. A casual access — known at times as a hot desk — is not reserved for any one person, but is available for use by all flex desk members, giving you the ability to change up your working situation. Casual access memberships are a perfect way to enjoy both productivity and collaboration.
How is a casual access different from a dedicated desk?
A casual access is not reserved for an individual, and is available for use by any casual access member. By contrast, those on a dedicated desk membership have a reserved desk for their own personal use. Both are within the co-working space, though the dedicated desk membership comes at a higher cost.
What is included in a casual access membership?
A casual access membership includes access to our shared co-working space and a variety of available desks, as well as access to the entire Haven Workspaces during business hours. Casual access members can enjoy high-speed Wi-Fi, kitchen facilities and meeting rooms pending availability.
Is there a minimum contract period?
Our casual access memberships are flexible, and you can choose either a month-to-month plan or a longer-term subscription, depending on the needs of your business. Casual access leases can extend up to 12 months.
Who is a casual access best suited for?
Casual access are ideal for freelancers and remote workers, as well as entrepreneurs and startup owners. This membership option is also good for workers who may only be in an area temporarily, such as business travellers. Casual access provide a flexible working environment without needing to commit to a permanent desk.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my membership?

Is this the best way to rent a desk?
A casual access is an excellent option if you need a space to work every day, but are comfortable moving around a little bit within our co-working workspace, not requiring a fixed location. Combined with our Casual and Dedicated Desk membership options, Haven Workspaces is well-equipped to support you and your work, however frequently you need a desk.
